Anne Chu (b. 1959) fuses sculpture and painting in her figurative and landscape-based work. Artistic
and cultural practices of the East and West inspire her large sculptures of wood, ceramic, bronze and
textiles, as well as her colorful monotypes and watercolors. Chu’s work has been shown in numerous
solo and group exhibitions at institutions such as the Miami Museum of Contemporary Art; Berkeley
Art Museum, CA; Dallas Museum of Art; Westfaelischer Kunstverein, Germany; Museum of Contem-
porary Art, Chicago; and the Carnegie Museum, Pittsburgh. Represented by 303 Gallery.
