The iCI independents are a new generation of art enthusiasts who support iCI’s mission and strive to enhance their members’ knowledge and appreciation of
contemporary art through thoughtful and engaging programs. Member activities include studio visits with artists, dialogues with curators, tours of private collections, and other special events.

Now in its fourth decade, iCI is a dynamic nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the understanding and appreciation of contemporary art through its innovative traveling exhibitions and publications. iCI brings challenging artworks to a wide range of museums in the US and abroad, giving diverse audiences the opportunity experience new art and enabling artists to have their work seen in a thoughtful context.
